WOMEN’S ENTREPRENEURIAL

COUNCIL

Empowering and connecting female entrepreneurs with the resources they need for business and professional success.

Our Women’s Entrepreneurial Council is a program initiative of The Commons that works to empower women entrepreneurs with connection and guidance from incredible resources within our community. We aggregate resources and leverage community expertise with our Women’s Best Awards℠ events and programs to help them build their businesses and enhance their skills.

Although women entrepreneurs are starting businesses at twice the pace of men and making 80 percent of purchasing decisions, women face significant obstacles when it comes to accessing the funding, education, mentors and markets for starting sustainable businesses. Simply put, we have work to do.

Did you know? We maintain a running list of women-owned businesses that you can view and consider supporting with your buying power. Women-owned businesses and women entrepreneurs, you’re invited to contribute to this list! Consider this list when you need to buy products or services.

What to Expect

Year-round opportunities for entrepreneurial women to find resources, networks, and inspiration for the journey.
